My first time, and I fell in love

Oh this is true and you can always trust me, it was my first time attending a cultural event; Bon Odori which I never thought of going in the first place because my friends declined my invitation. How sad.

But of course I made to the place in Shah Alam, Malaysia where the event was held with my travel mate last year, thanks to her I got my photos covered too (wink wink).

Given the name “Bon Odori”, it is a multinational event held annually in Shah Alam as a way to encourage cultural exchange between Malaysia and Japan. I believe it’s one of those initiatives to learn the culture of Japan and amalgamate into their history.

From my understanding, Bon Odori had been celebrated for over 500 years and it traditionally includes a number of dances. So without further ado, here are the photos my friend and I took yesterday.

  1. I am really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues?
A couple of my blog audience have complained about my site not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera.
Do you have any recommendations to help fix this issue?

    • Thank you for the thoughts. Unfortunately, I’m not sure about stability issues occuring to my site as I’m subscribed to WordPress so the choice is there to monitor myself without having a third party to deal with. Perhaps your audience can try using Google Chrome?
